This one is a piece of iron, but the shape looks too round.

After cutting you can see it has voids in it. The voids are not common in

meteorites but they do occur. There is not an etch and the metal turns a

darker color of grey when the etching solution is applied.

I think this is a old steel ball from a ball mill. It was used to crush gold ore.
